Integration with Oracle JDE
Despite using Oracle JDE as their ERP system, PACS relied heavily on Excel spreadsheets to manage key warehouse processes from stock allocation to shipment tracking. These manual workflows resulted in inefficiencies, high error rates, and delayed updates to JDE. The leadership team, which includes the General Manager and Heads of Department lacked real-time visibility into inventory movement and had to rely on time-consuming sync-ups to stay informed.
We identified that Excel-based tracking could be transformed into a scalable and customisable Warehouse Inventory Management System (WIMS) with three key components:
Accessible via web platforms and warehouse-grade scanners, the system enabled real-time stock monitoring and full traceability across the supply chain.
